Week 7

This week rainy season started in full force! We took full advantage of it by dancing in (in our mote) and soccer games in the rain. Our Wednesday ministry sites saw a bit of rain for the first time this week as well, but the kids still had a great time. Midterms continued to keep the students busy during the day and up until all hours of the night. Wednesday after noon was filled with a staff vs. students volleyball, ultimate Frisbee and four square competition (the students came out on top). The weekend was spent hanging out and Bible reading (there was a check-in on where the students are at on Monday morning). On Sunday morning a team of students and staff lead worship at a local english-speaking church and did an excelent job! Sorry the last couple of weeks have been posted later in the week, we will work on that in the next couple of weeks.

Note:
We have loved to receive all of your comments over the weeks. Please make sure that you leave your name on it so that we know who you are.

Blessings & Peace in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, because in His name all things are made right. Your weekly updates, and especially photos, have been a great gift to me. It almost brings me back to the community. You really are not missing anything in the states this year. Your experiences in Ecuador are not all going to be easy. They will not all be pleasant. But take strength in the fact that God has been and is at work creating a Holy People for Himself. You are part of that creation.
Do not hide from any conflicts that may arise this term. I have heard that the new campus makes it easy to avoid issues. Conflicts are the moments that God uses to embrace and strengthen you.
I intensely miss Ecuador. The Ecuadorians, the Professors, and the community. The fact that you are there now means that God is working in and through your life, and you are truly blessed.
Much love in Christ,

Hello to all of you at CBCE! I'm really enjoying this blogspot! Good job Annalea. It allows us as parents to see pictures of all of the students, and the campus, and get an even better idea of how and what our kids are doing. To my girls, Azurlee and Alexis, hello and I love you! Study hard!
